Choral Anthems for Funerals, Part 2

WOW, the responses to Choral Anthems for Funerals has been tremendous. Dozens of readers replied through various media to create this list, and over 3,000 readers read the blog. That’s amazingly exciting.

I'm sure this list could be doubled.
I discovered many anthems, of varying levels of difficulty (easy to extremely difficult), I had not known that are worth looking at. I do hope you will find the list helpful.

This list does not contain movements from major works, i.e., Requiems by Brahms, Mozart, ect. The list consists of standalone anthems.

Finally, on some of the original Facebook posts, folks posted their own compositions with recordings, etc. These are not included in this list, as the recordings and scores support each other, are better represented as posted, as there are no links, etc. to recordings and/or scores on this list. This allows folks to determine if these would work in their situation, using those sources for review of the music.

THANK YOU to all that contributed to this list!
