Max Reger - 52 Chorale Preludes (Opus 67) Title Translations

Max Reger (German), born Johann Baptist Joseph Maximilian Reger (March 19, 1873-May 11, 1916), was a composer, pianist, organist, conductor, and academic teacher. He worked as a concert pianist, music director at the Chapel of Leipzig University, professor music at the Royal Conservatory in Leipzig, and music director in the court of Duke Georg II of Saxe-Meiningen. His 52 easy chorale preludes, is an understatement as each chorale is a masterwork unto itself. The publisher has not provided translations of the titles, making it difficult to know when these works are appropriate for use in a church setting. The author has created a complete list for this purpose. This should prove useful to many organists.
